Why We Pedal...   ï»¿ï»¿

Sunny Lebsack

20 years ago the sun set on a beautiful soul.  At only 17 years old, Sunny Lebsack lost her life in an auto accident on her way home to Sun Valley, ID.

In simple words, Sunny was an "old soul"; having wisdom and generosity beyond her age.  She encouraged those around her to do their best and stood up to anyone who was in the wrong.

Through the act of organ and tissue donation, Sunny directly helped save lives, gave the gift of sight and lessened the pain of over 100 people.  This altruistic act stretched far beyond the obvious benefit of helping so many; it gave her family and friends a means to cope during the grieving process.

In Sunny's honor, we are continuing the tradition of giving. On Saturday, August 10th riders will head out from Sunny's former high school in Spokane, WA and wrap up in Sun Valley, ID on August, 16th.  Over 7 days we will travel 580 miles, climb over 30,000 feet and hopefully help save more lives.
